Tips for Success
- Use fresh shrimp – Fresh or properly thawed shrimp will yield the best texture.
- Cook the sausage before the shrimp – the juices from the sausage will stay on the pan when your done cooking them. Once you throw the shrim on the pan, they will absorb the flavor of the sausage.
- Don’t overcook the shrimp – Shrimp cooks quickly, so remove them from heat as soon as they turn pink.
- Adjust sweetness – If you prefer a less sweet sauce, reduce the honey slightly.
- Experiment with veggies – Try adding mushrooms, zucchini, or bok choy for variety.
